Why am I getting a ‘Date Must be between’ Validation error when entering data in Quality Window?

Date must be between error example
Date must be between error example

When entering data in Quality Window, each record must have a date and time that is:

  • Later than the previous record
  • Earlier than the current system date and time on the workstation

If this rule is violated, a validation error will occur.

Common causes and how to resolve them

Incorrect date/time entered manually

  • Review your records starting from the oldest incorrect entry
  • Correct each record in sequence until all dates/times are valid

Incorrect system date/time on a workstation

  • Verify and correct the system date and time on any computer used for data entry
  • After correcting the system clock, update existing records starting from the oldest invalid entry

Corrupted or inconsistent date/time data

  • If the issue persists and cannot be resolved through manual correction, contact Busitech support
  • Include your license number and a brief description of the issue so we can assist further

Notes

  • Date and time validation is enforced to maintain proper record sequencing
  • Fixing earlier records is required before later records can be corrected
